For some reason Crowton just didn't develop players very well. He was successful in 2001 with the players that were developed by Lavell, but as the older players moved on, his teams struggled more and more. Especially on offense. 

I would say that every player has improved significantly over the last year. If other players grow similar to what we saw with Toolson, I think this team as a whole will just get better.
