I was planning on taking my truck in for service this afternoon. I thought there was play in my water pump pulley. My commute is about 57 miles each way. Less than 10 miles from home, I thought I smelled coolant. A couple miles later the warnings came up and I pulled over. Threw the belt and the pump is shot. Tow truck will be here in 45 minutes. And least I'll avoid today's scheduled brow beating from my ops manager.
