With logos I believe the first rule is simplicity. A logo should be a mark
that is easily recognizable and simple to reproduce, etc. My rule of thumb is if it can't be easily embroidered (or a version of it) it's too much. Of course, there is MUCH more than that involved, and that is not always a real consideration, but I find it a good starting point for people. See if you can distill those ideas down into the most simple of images/icons.

Of the three I think the Three Dee is the one that is taking you closer to that and the thinking is on track.

For the Bear Country Fishing...I'd forget everything else but the bear and his rod. I like that image. Take that alone, works with some different font ideas that are clean and fit the style and you have something really logo worthy.

The best two things you can do are study other great design...and do what you are doing; making stuff and asking for feedback.
