My personal experience: CB is horrible at tearing down our own guys. I
started out in the message board world years ago as a regular on a P5 message board.
I've never seen a team regularly eat its own like CB does.
Example: Where a little used player decides to hang it up with eligibility remaining or transfer to a lesser division, on another message board I've regularly seen "Good luck in all you do kid. You'll always be a [insert mascot name]."
On CB, all too often I see, "Thank goodness. He wasn't a division 1 athlete. Now we can use his scholarship on someone that belongs on a division 1 roster."
