My condolences

I've lived here for the past 20 years. I've lived in 7 different states over my life and all have their pros and cons. But, there are really a lot of wonderful things about Texas:

  • BBQ - it's all over and you just can't beat the best places outside if this state Steak - true you can get good rest meat pretty much anywhere, but so many great options
  • Buc-ee's - amazing how a gas station visit can turn into an experience D
  • Dr. Pepper - created here Blue Bell ice cream - it's just good
  • Torchys Tacos - amazing tacos
  •  Hill Country - it's really pretty
  • Cost of living - very reasonable compared to other locations with comparable urban populations
  • Family friendly - I have never been to another state where people are so welcoming of families
  • Kind people - this is more prevalent outside of the downtown areas but people are so open and friendly
  • Sports - Texans love their sports
  • Business friendly - an extremely vibrant statewide economy
  • Diversity - very diverse in race and culture

There are so many other things that could be referenced.

I know I won't convince you to change your mind but it really is a decent place.
