I’m a high school official so naturally I kind of pay attention to the game within the game. Few certainly thought he should have got jacked and was lobbying for it. I though the crew was patient and it told me they were acknowledging some of the criticism as valid. Pope was really hot when TJ had that fumble that led to a runout when the Zags kind of made their run in the 2nd half. My take was that BYU felt like they wouldn’t call fouls if GU bumped our dribblers but we retained possession, but not vice versa. They also called at least 3 off-ball defensive post fouls but never found one on the Zags. I thought overall they did a pretty good job, I thought the white hair was wrong to come change the charge call in favor of Jake. I also thought the one that should have been a travel before the block against #11 was horrid. Replay clearly shows a travel before minimal contact, they seemed to penalize great defensive position way too much against us. I think it’s obvious that Mark Few is the elder statesman in the conference, the officials seem to respect him too much, he’s has a sort of aura with them. That’s my humble opinion.....
