I think people are more fond of Davies due to him staying 4 years, being associated with Jimmer, being one of the key pieces on an NCAA tourney team (last one to win a game in the NCAA tourney), and taking us to NIT final 4. Mika, meanwhile, is dinged in perception because he left after his Sophomore year and lost in 1st round of NIT that season.
