How old is your friend? I ask because Lake Effect is a great bar within
walking distance but it’s definitely a younger crowd. I’d recommend either walking or catching an Uber or scooter over to Main Street and hitting White Horse, Whiskey Street, and Maxwells.
Gateway does have some new restaurants/bars. I haven’t been to them so I don’t know if they are any good.
