Most schools cheat to attract top talent flight talent and that cheating often includes a lot of cash and escorts (see Miami in football) or fake classes and artificial grades. In Emery's case, he took some pretty small potatoes stuff (still wrong, but in a whole different league) and this was to a player ALREADY AT THE SCHOOL, with no intention of going anywhere else who at that point was playing fairly marginally.

Pretty big difference, IMO from what these other schools have been accused and are guilty of.
