IOW, the no-Sunday thing isn't really that big of a deal. They rank all the teams 1-68 and then the computer software they use puts them in the locations. It lets them know if BYU is slotted for a Fri/Sun location, in which case they would probably move BYU down one spot — not one full seed unless it's at the borderline of two seeds, like going from #24 to #25. The same thing happens if two teams from the same conference are slotted to play each other too early.

Also emphasized that quad 3, and especially quad 4 losses can hurt. BYU doesn't have any of those.
