daunting place to play a basketball game? I say no. So i think the list is kind of off. But if the question is where is the toughest place to win in general...then yeah you take the team into consideration. But it would be interesting to know if it could be measured which place regardless of team is the most intimidating place to play due to its fans, the arena, the location, the atmosphere, the student section. I think these sports writers may have the best insight into that. So maybe i need to attend a game at some of these other places before I can have an informed opinion myself.
