was a very close game. Had we beat SDSU earlier in the season, right now they'd be ranked much, much lower (I think their incredible record is mostly due to a soft schedule). I'm not trying to be a debbie downer, but it's hard to share your optimism when we've lost so many close games.

I agree that this is a special team and they are certainly hungry. If the NCAA tournament was like the NIT and we had a couple games at home I'd feel really good about our sweet 16 chances. As it is, I'm cautiously optimistic that this hungry team can get a tourney win, something we haven't seen in too long and that would far exceed most BYU fans' preseason expectations for this squad.
