I wasn't trying to say that about the class I took. I just don't remember ever

hearing that phrase before, either in class or any tech magazine I've read since then.

I don't understand how planes "block the unilateral pressure reaction" - I thought they just burned a whole lot of fuel to push even more air backwards really fast.
