POLL: Given the pronounced age selectivity of this virus, is it too late to do an age specific approach?
There is great data in the article. It seems like we had the perfect opportunity to strategically attack this pandemic in such a way that the patients under 60 with low risk of dying from the disease could have kept the economy moving while we protected the vulnerable groups with self isolation. We have the tech and means for elaborate home delivery services, ops for seniors to work remotely, etc. This seems like the solution to beating this virus and minimizing the economic devastation we are facing. Is it too late to switch to this approach now?
