I don't know its like my house will drop 5% in value might as well drop 90% it
is all the same. We can't stop it from taking a hit so who cares about magnitude. It is a completely absurd point.
We take risks all the time with life to better the economy or our lifestyle. There are 1000s of examples but an easy one is driving. If we don't want anyone to die in automobile accidents we can ban driving. The goal would be achieved but at what cost.
