Sarcasm, I assume? I'd say "use common sense" not "give in to paranoia".
If you have a grandparent living in a home with young kids, then maybe you should keep the kids home or see if grandparents can temporarily relocate somewhere else. That is called "common sense". Cancelling the rest of the school year with only 8 cases and 1 death is called "giving in to fear".
