when I bought it was a pretty decent annuity with the consistent dividend and cell phone service to me is a safe an investment as one can make. But debt may be a fact of life for a company like that that depends so much on having a killer infrastructure to enable services. The 5G rollout is expensive. Hopefully everyone pauses and takes a breath now before jumping to the next big thing-- that will allow them to shed debt more quickly. I don't recall how much more investment they are projecting in the 5G buildout over the next little while, but that's the key number there IMO. Seems like they were thinking it was mostly over last I knew.
