Japan has only cancelled K-12 for the last month and has asked that people limit events. Our outbreak started early February and yet the hospitals don’t seem overwhelmed. We’ve been fairly business as usual for the last five weeks.
I know Japan has kept their requirements for COVID testing very strict, but you have to think that if there was a crazy issue, we’d see it in the hospitals. Watching the US just has me scratching my head and wondering what’s the difference?
I will say that I’m glad I’m not still sitting in Venezuela for this.
