They think they will win re-election by bankrupting their populace and putting
employers out of business?
I get that they are in a tough situation, it really is a lose-lose. But if they are trying to win re-election, they should isolate the vulnerable while encouraging the healthy to carry on and keep the economy going and build up herd immunity, aggressively treating those that get sick when needed.
