The study done by the French doctor (I posted it earlier today) talked about 6 days, before patients were healed. (healed is obviously not the way he said it, just my non-medical terminology) However if that is true then it would seem likely patients would have started improving earlier.

However, I agree with you, it wouldnt seem to be the main reason but perhaps as part of the overall approach of social distancing, better testing, the use of the drugs, sufficient medical supplies, it all morphed together?
