Unfortunately, people are packing certain recreation areas prompting closures.
If people just kept their distance in the first place, we wouldn't be seeing photos of packed beaches and there would be no reason to close them.
They had hoped to keep Yosemite open, but of course the rock climbers just evacuated the cities and made their own mini city gatherings, thus defeating the purpose of the lockdown in the first place. Causing everyone to lose out.
