It was suggested that all foreigners leave and were given a 72 hour window to do so. The missionaries and the church were given an extension to that 72 hours. Maybe others were as well. I believe the church elected to bring all young missionaries home. Apparently at least some senior missionaries were given an option. I am aware of two couples that elected to stay in the mission we came home from last July.
