Some coaches might give preference to their recruits over transfers because transfers aren't "real" [insert mascot name]s. But if we can continue to demonstrate to athletic, solid P5 guys who aren't getting PT because they're on stacked rosters that they'll get an honest shot at BYU even though they weren't "company men" from the beginning, we could develop a really solid reputation and get some of the more athletic kids who wouldn't have even considered us out of HS.
