Free markets didn't screw up on PPE supply. State intervention did.
States prevented price gouging and set price ceilings. That's not a free market. The free market would have seen prices rise and hospitals would now be able to buy more PPE.

Free markets are still the answer. Hospitals should offer to pay what it takes to buy those supplies.
