China isn't the only place. In India, you can drive down main roads and see the chicken guys on the side of
the road that have chickens in a coup. They will butcher the chickens right in front of you in their shack, and let you take it home, or even fry it up in a pan right there for you to eat. They are not wearing latex gloves.
