Only because I’m tired of waiting for you to post studies and research that
support your statements. I’ll post a few for you.

This mentions the R0 factor (how contagious the disease is) of COVID19 being between 1.70 and 1.78. Which in fact is pretty contagious. For reference, the Spanish flu in 1918 was 1.8.

Here is another one that states COVID19 is not only highly contagious but it says “the observed number of cases indicate that both R0 and the prevalence of the virus might be underestimated”. So it’s saying that it might currently be underestimated how contagious it really is. The good news though is it basically says because it’s so contagious It around more than we yet know and therefore the mortality rate is actually probably lower than we first thought.

“The results indicate that the basic reproduction number of COVID-19 is significantly larger than one and higher than previous estimated R_0 of COVID-19 in the early stages. Based on the results, it is necessary to implement social distancing and a strict restriction on travelling to control the outbreak especially on Nowruz (Persian New Year).” Again stating the R0 is higher than previously thought. Meaning more contagious.

This one talks about how it is highly contagious as well.

I linked just a few of the studies and research out there on how contagious this is and why medical professionals and governments are worried and taking drastic measureS. Granted, these aren’t yet peer reviewed studies since all of the studies and research on the virus is still so new. But it helps validate my original point from the beginning of the post, which is to say this is a very contagious virus.
