So I spend 21 days in my Idaho home to quell the virus
Then we all go back to normal and then an infected trucker or airplane passenger visits Idaho and restarts it all again.

I don’t think you can honestly say we suffer for 3 weeks and it’s over unless you’re prepared to seal the borders, close the airports, and test everyone particularly healthcare workers to make sure it’s not still community spreading.

If the goal is to build up herd immunity at a sustainable rate or make it to a vaccine I don’t think three weeks will do it.
