handle the influx of patients because we produced x thousands of ventilators in 2020, then I would bet the country would jump on getting a testing kit going ASAP, getting experts to compare morbidity with this current virus and get ready for it to hit the US. I doubt there would be calls for a massive shut down, but more a roll up our sleeves and get ready to deal with it when it does come.
