tracking where they are trying to go on the internet and the district filter is blocking inappropriate sites. They are also getting a report when those are being attempted. The district is then asking the school administrators to contact the home to find out what is going on. Each family had to sign a release when they took the Chromebook saying it would only be used for educational purposes and only on appropriate sites.

I just had to call 3 parents to tell them what was being searched from their home on the Chromebook. Yes it is as awkward as it sounds to make those calls. Especially when it is a little girl student and most likely the Dad is the one trying to access it.

Some people are really messed up.
