He spent a lot of time griping that the Senate bill didn’t give his state enough money. It had $5 billion for NY State to address corona virus that couldn’t be spent on other things. He has a budget shortfall due to falling tax revenues and wants to blame that on Trump or the Congress. He just needs to figure out how to manage his bloated NY state budget. Every state in the country has the same problem. Did NY build up a rainy day fund to prepare for things like this when the economy was good? If not, shame on them. We don’t need to add yet another trillion to the federal budget. Find a way to reduce expenses. Utah will probably be having a special session soon to make adjustments. Every state will probably need to do the same.
