We employ about 15,000 people there. These are two of the most advanced factories in the entire country (controlled country products that required U.S. government approval). I've seen the work they do in those factories. They are certainly competent, but we don't do any of our advanced manufacturing there for a good reason. I've also been involved in hiring a LOT of people in China and I've managed several of our top people in that country. I can tell you with confidence that they are not engineering or design gurus. They're about 20 years behind Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong in manufacturing and engineering capability, maybe more. Even with their theft of IP from Taiwan and Hong Kong, they can't match those countries. We've had to disqualify multiple Chinese suppliers (including Foxconn) for shoddy, unreliable performance.
