That’s what “social distancing” practices are. Keep a distance of 6 feet away from each other. You can be outside in your own yard. It’s not like if you go outside your gonna “catch the Covid”.

That’s why this whole “shelter in place” and lock down crap pisses me off. We can still have businesses open and do stuff if those businesses can be conducted with safe social distancing practices: wash hands often, don’t touch your face, keep 6 ft apart, cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze, etc. Yeah, there are some businesses where that may be difficult to do because of the nature of the business (dentist-as an example) but, let those businesses decide if they can develop practices that protect themselves, their employees, and the customers. Let the customers then decide if they feel comfortable going to that business.

Go outside, go for a hike, go run a marathon. Just keep your respective distance from others if you happen to cross paths with someone.

I don’t understand why we have allowed our government systems to have so much power that they can control the minutiae of our everyday lives. It also doesn’t help that there are a lot of idiots out there that the government has felt the need to step in because, well, idiots are gonna idiot.
