My best friend and I had gone to see other movies when they were new and didn't want to be stuck in bad seats in a crowded theater so we convinced our parents (his parents, actually... His dad drove) to take us on opening night.

We had the theater mostly to ourselves. There weren't many people there.

But we did like the movie. It was good. Still holds up to this day though the kid doing the Ray Charles bit on the Pepsi commercial doesn't have any reference point in the kids brains now.
