This is an opportunity to see what would happen if we let the science of
climate change dictate overall policy.
Much like climate change, we should observe the science and do our best to be part of the solution. However, if we let science and data dictate economic, social, and other policy completely, we become lopsided and it's impossible to function as a normal society.
