It turns out that the doctors and other employees impacted were those whose income was largely risk-based and because they are not seeing many (if any) patients right now their contracts were restructured so they would receive 85% of their typical income instead of nothing. These are not "front line" people fighting Coronavirus every day. Clearly the Trib will never miss an opportunity to drum up controversy where it really doesn't exist.
