I made the mistake of visiting our middle school's facebook page. Parents are coming unglued that they aren't allowed to go into the school to retrieve things out of their lockers. Emergency items can be picked up (medications, epi-pens, inhalers, etc.). The biggest complaint is not having their tennis shoes from PE. One starts complaining and then others pile on about what an inconvenience it is and how unprofessional the administration is.

I can't decide if many people feel so entitled, or if they are very few but very loud. Given the example set by our leaders, I guess it makes complete sense.
