(1) 1980 "Miracle" Bowl: 1st bowl win, 21 point comeback with less than 4 minutes left. Beat SMUs Vaunted Pony Express offense with Eric Dickerson and Craig James. Jim McMahon to Clay Brown. Nothing will ever beat this one.

(2) 1984 Holiday Bowl. National Championship. Gimpy Robbie Bosco comes back to throw the game winner. Take that Bryant Gumbel.


Everything else is below those two by a long ways for me. But if I had to pick they would probably include:

(3) BYU-Miami 1991: I was on my mission and had to listen to a recording of the game that another Elder in my district made for off of Armed Services Network and gave me the following morning at church on a bunch of Missionary Guide tapes.

(4) BYU-Oklahoma 2009 (already been discussed)

(5) BYU-UCLA 1983: BYU beats UCLA in the Rose Bowl. Steve Young shows he's the real deal.

BYU-Texas-basically EVERY SINGLE TIME
BYU-San Diego State 1991: Detmer leads BYU to a come-from-behind tie which is all that was needed to win the conf championship and secure a spot in the Holiday Bowl. Aztec tears were awesome.
