And when the trades do work how long do they take to buy/sell? In other words, if I buy Delta tomorrow and they go up by 30% by Monday, can I execute a sell on Monday?

Yes volume is the problem. And typically trades are executed immediately depends

You can easily use it to buy and trade options. IE, lose tons of money.
