Growing anecdotal evidence hydroxychloroquine works best in early treatment
Yesterday, I listened to an interview with a doctor. She said hydroxychloroquine treatment is being delayed by pharmacies that have been pressured to only give the medicine to hospitals. This doctor is recommending hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic to her high risk patients and is taking it herself. The doctor believes the earlier the introduction of hydroxychloroquine for Covid patients, the greater the efficacy.

I'm seeing growing numbers of doctors on my Twitter feed suggesting the same thing. The stories I've read of hydroxychloroquine not working are all in hospital settings where the patients were mostly very sick when they started receiving hydroxychloroquine.
