BYU is a really unique place. It isn’t a good fit for a lot of members of the Church

Even those who are active LDS. Active LDS people live a pretty different life than most people. So if BYU’s culture can be unappealing even to some members of the Church, it’s pretty obvious that BYU could be unappealing to people who aren’t LDS.
