I think it’s conjecture.
The article does not cite any evidence other than one instance with an airborne virus.

This one is not airborne. It’s spread by direct contact with droplets. Sure, if someone coughs or sneezes directly on you it’s possible but that is extremely unlikely from most credible accounts.

You cannot test this in humans so there is ZERO data to support this notion of virus dosing.

While one cannot completely conclude at this point the theory of viral dosing is invalid, I think it is irresponsible of the NY Times to publish an article leading people to believe it’s fact.

I personally thinks it’s horse manure.
