In 3 weeks, everyone on here will personally know somebody infected EDITED
That is my prognostication for the day.
Let me edit this...
Yes, I do believe that we will all know somebody infected. But, I want you all to know that I have an enormous amount of hope, that we will weather the disease. The end of this will come, the despair will fade, peace will triumph over anxiety.
I have witnessed first hand miracles directly related to Covid-19 and I know that you will also see miracles. Keep your eyes open.
We might see loved ones die, and that will be utterly heartbreaking. We will also see the smiling faces of our children, spouse, coworkers and friends and we will feel immense joy, knowing that we weathered together as a family. Some might grieve for a loved one, and that will be hard to forget; we will never forget. We will also be thankful that smarter and wiser men than you or I provided us comfort in a time of such unrest.
Peace to all of you. I pray every morning and night that my patients who suffer will find peace. May you all have that blessing as well.
