IMO, much of the doom and gloom is the result of our testing fiasco...
And our failure to accurately assess the threat.
Perhaps much of today's fears, and economic impact, could have been mitigated, and lightened had we been prepared, decisive and quick to act from the get go. But there was no clear messaging nor direction, but instead it seemed like a couple months of limbo is what we got.
