are serious effects beyond just death with COVID. I'm less worried about the 0.1% who die (I'll take my chances on that) and more concerned about the 20% who are hospitalized (that was a number I saw at one point, not sure if still true.)

I hope not. They say 1/6 need hospitalization, and half of those need vents.
