Having Hakeem and Kareem on the same team is a waste. Their skills are too similar and when one has the ball, the other is kind of worthless. They would also be completely crowding the lane making it impossible for guys like Jordan and magic to really be effective. You would have to move one of them out to clear space but whoever you moved out would go unguarded outside the key. That would allow Duncan and shaq to double the center position.

At least with Shaq and Duncan, you can put Duncan at mid range and he is still a productive weapon when shaq has the ball. Duncan is good enough at mid range to force one of the two centers out so you can’t double team shaq.

That top team is just a terribly composed roster
