BYU does an amazing job with Social Media, I think the majority of their accounts are very well run. They’re organized, they have very good content and the photos and videos are always the correct resolutions.

My understanding is that a lot of these accounts are run by students who are in Communications degrees, Marketing etc. they are managed and things are done correctly, like the majority of things at BYU.

The BYU recruiting Instagram is obviously run by Ah-You, he is now the recruiting coordinator. Chaz has been in quite a few videos and Ah-You’s wife even made a cameo.

However, it’s bubble gum. He needs to do the right thing and get some interns and ask for help. If he wants to be legitimate, he needs to have people involved who can help create a content calendar and plan the posts in advance. Granted, we are at a unique time and this may all be happening, but because of COVID-19 it is at a standstill. Either way he needs to relinquish control and oversee and help plan & let the professionals handle the Instagram account.
