I've linked that the vaunted Dr Zalenko has been accused of falsifying data and hasn't even had most of his patients tested for COVID! There is certainly NO DATA that it helps prevent infection, as the president ignorantly continues to claim. Rheumatologists are running an international registry and have shown many lupus patients on Hydroxychloroquine who still contracted the disease ( https://rheum-covid.org/).

I SINCERELY HOPE FULL TRIALS SHOW THE DRUG WORKS but until that time it is ridiculous to continue claiming some sort of intentional conspiracy theory to keep a "cure" from the masses.

I would support using this medication for myself or loved ones IF WE WERE HOSPITALIZED. But currently we should not be supporting prophylactic or outpatient use as it is leading to drug shortages which is causing harm to patients who rely on this medication for management of their chronic medical conditions.
