A quarantine story
[I posted this as a response to another thread trying to take it out of FO...I was not successful so I am posting again here]

I had family in town (13-14 years ago) to bless one of our babies. It was over New Years. There were 29 people in our house for about 4 days. 27 of the 29 vomited during those 4 days.

I called our Branch President and told him of our situation and he agreed it would be best if we did not go to church and offered to come to the house so we could bless the baby with all the family there.

The Branch President was the head of the county health department and he showed up to the house in one of their squad cars wearing full body suit, mask and gloves and informed the person who opened the door (my BIL) he was from the health department and was there to quarantine the entire house. Those near the door were a bit panicked until I approached the BP and shook his hand and welcomed him in.

We found out later that the 2 from my sister's family that did not throw up had done so the day before they drove up and chose to not tell us. 🙁
