“This is not a mandate that you must wear a face covering.
Guidance
Our best community and individual defense against COVID-19 is:
Performing frequent hand hygiene,
Avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands,
Avoiding being around sick people, and
Practicing social distancing, especially by staying at home.
If you wear a face covering, wash your hands before and after touching and adjusting the face covering.”
Here’s the problem, watch now how many times people who aren’t accustomed to wearing a face mask touch and adjust their mask. It’s an issue that I think doesn’t outweigh the benefit.
As far as the N95 mask, I would certainly look to donate that to someone who works in a field that’s in a high risk category due to viral load rather than my grocery shopping.
