(higher rates, especially women at 56%) and African Americans are at increased risk for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases such as high BP, diabetes, CKD, myocardial infarction, and stroke.
Then add on top of that, high density low income housing areas.
It's a losing battle for that demographic. They need help.
But understanding where and who are most vulnerable can help us target hot spots with resources and open up the country in less vulnerable areas.
